Distributed SQLite database service Turso Cloud has officially announced its addition to the Vercel Marketplace. This partnership brings a more seamless database integration experience to developers within the Vercel ecosystem. Turso is a distributed database built on libSQL (an open-source fork of SQLite), known for its extremely low query latency, edge computing compatibility, and ultra-fast cold start times — making it an ideal companion to Vercel's Serverless and Edge Functions, especially when building modern web applications and AI applications that require rapid response.
